We purchased a property in need of considerable renovation through Stuart Taylor at Payne & Co. Most estate agents have in my view unfortunately lost the art (and it is an art) of making a difficult deal work. Luckily though, Stuart is not one of those. Given the condition of the property,  agreeing a price was not simple, and subsequent issues identified also needed to be agreed. Stuart  very professionally and effectively facilitated negotiations and helped bring the seller and buyer onto the same page –  working a good outcome for all. We also appreciated that Stuart kept us well informed, and helped nudge things along when things got stuck at lawyers etc. When we buy or sell next, it will be an easy decision which estate agent to contact.
