Historic Westerham is a thriving business and residential community set around a village green, within easy reach of the M25 motorway and the towns of Sevenoaks and Oxted.
Just over the Kent border and minutes from Oxted, the lovely village of Westerham is home to Churchill’s Chartwell, Squerreyes Court and Vineyard and many other historic buildings. It has a thriving business and social community with lots of great restaurants, pubs, shops, golf and tennis clubs, and many other social and sports facilities in the village and close by. Westerham also benefits from being in the Kent catchment for local grammar schools.
There is no train service available in Westerham. Residents tend to travel to the nearest station in Oxted 3.5 miles to the west. The fastest train leaves Oxted at 5.55am and arrives at London Bridge 33 minutes later at 6.28am, with no changes required. The service stops only at East Croydon at 6.09am. Alternatively Sevenoaks commuter station is a popular choice 5.5 miles to the east.
Conveniently, the A25 passes straight through this area and provides fast links to Redhill to the west (12 miles) and Sevenoaks to the east (6 miles). The M25 can be conveniently accessed from both Junction 5 at Godstone (6.5 miles to the west) and Junction 6 near Dunton Green (4 miles to the east).
Well served by different bus routes, including the 236 to Edenbridge, the 410 to Oxted and westwards, and the 401 eastwards to Sevenoaks .
