One of many reasons Oxted and Limpsfield are so popular. The fastest train leaves Oxted at 5.55am and arrives at London Bridge 33 minutes later at 6.28am, with no changes required. The service stops only at East Croydon at 6.09am.
Other services, depending on how many other stations are stopped at along the route, all take between 36 and 48 minutes, all with no changes required. Changing at East Croydon or Clapham Junction will take you to other London Termini.
Conveniently, the A25 passes straight through this area and provides fast links to Redhill to the west (7 miles) and Sevenoaks to the east(8.5 miles). The A22 is found near Godstone providing fast links to Croydon to the north (9 miles) and East Grinstead to the south(9 miles). The closest access to the M25 (junction 6) is at Godstone 3 miles away.
The 410 service can be picked up from Oxted and heads west along the A25 to Redhill. Change at Godstone to the 509 for services north towards Caterham and south towards East Grinstead. From Limpsfield the 236 provides a service easterly along the A25 to Westerham.
